Jerland Farms was established over 35 years ago by Larry Jerome. With the help of his family and friends, including long time breeders Hermann Blaser and Evelyn Burton, the groundwork has been being laid to establish a breeding program with tremendous vision. Many of the current broodmares can trace their heritage back to generations of Jerland breeding.

Today dreams are being fulfilled as Jerland lays claim to owning not one, but two of the most influential breeding stallions available today. MPA Giovanni was purchased as a yearling. With patience and foresight, his career has lead him to being not only a National Champion, but also a Leading Juvenile Sire. His sons and daughters are quickly becoming sought after here and abroad. The list of wins at prestigious shows continues to grow. The oldest are just now entering performance and adult halter classes with success in both.

*Khadraj NA has been a part of the Jerland breeding program for years. His daughter Khenya PGA was one of the first mares to be bred to Giovanni. In the summer of 2007, *Khadraj came to call Jerland home. Recently, the *Khadraj offspring have dominated Western Pleasure classes around the country. His get have also been highly successful in Hunter and Working Western divisions as well. His halter offspring have a way of rising to the top and demanding awe-inspiring prices in the sales department.

Family is still heavily involved and daughter Indira and her husband Mike Van Handel run the day to day operations of the farm.
